Warehouse SB Plot

The Boehmlehner warehouse plot is the plot just across the highway from South Valley Seed. It is our show plot and gets planted relatively early since it's easily accessible. The results:

Pioneer P07T50r  -  48.9 bu/a
Pioneer 90Y81     -  43.3 bu/a
AsGrow AG0732 -  35.1 bu/a
Pioneer 90M80     -  42.2 bu/a
Pioneer P10T02r  -  45.9 bu/a
Pioneer P10T91r  -  49.0 bu/a
Pioneer 91Y10     -  42.2 bu/a
AsGrow AG1230 -  46.9 bu/a
Pioneer P13T99r  -  39.1 bu/a
Pioneer P15T83r  -  43.6 bu/a
AsGrow AG1431 -  50.4 bu/a
Pioneer P16T04r  -  39.7 bu/a
Pioneer P19T60r  -  51.1 bu/a
Pioneer P22T61r  -  42.9 bu/a

Two of the new "T" Series beans showed up on top as well as a competitor. P19T60r is a 1.9 maturity bean that did not act like it. It was way earlier in all plots and I would classify it this year as a 1.6 maturity bean. It had a very heavy canopy to hold down late-season waterhemp and if it hadn't gotten frozen a little too early in our other plots, you'd have seen some outstanding yields in those plots as well. This field was planted early enough that frost didn't affect it much at all. If you want a good late season soybean, P19T60r is definitely worth looking at. Just make sure you plant it early!
