"Heads Up" Plot 6-7 miles SE of Dumont

This plot comes from a beautiful field of corn southeast of Dumont. Planted in 30" rows at a population of 34,000/acre. Harvested on October 2nd, 2012. Very nice even plot. The grower was present for much of the plot. Results are:
96-98 day:
Pioneer P9675amx   - 223.8 bu/a - 13.1% - 58.8#
Dekalb DKC48-37   - 218.4 bu/a - 12.6% - 59.4#
99-100 day:
Pioneer P9917am1   - 239.1 bu/a - 14.3% - 59.1#
Dekalb DKC50-66   - 230.4 bu/a - 13.1% - 58.8#
100-102 day:
Pioneer P0062xr       - 255.6 bu/a - 14.2% - 56.7#
Dekalb DKC52-59   - 249.1 bu/a - 14.2% - 58.3#

As you can see, excellent yields. All six hybrids looked beautiful with great stands and standing good. The plot was in the middle of a field so it was a real good test. There were no bad hybrids in the bunch. The first and third comparisons are fairly even in results but the P9917am1 in the second comparison showed to be a clear winner. P9917 continues to be impressive.
