Corn Test Plot by Herman

This plot is found by Herman. It was planted on April 20th, and harvested on September 17th. The plot was harvested with both Pioneer reps and Dekalb sales people as well. I thought I'd bring this to you as it has more competitive hybrids in it as well as being witnessed by 2 different companies. It also has tremendous yields so it shows just how high some of these hybrids can go. The results were given to us already ranked by yield so that is the way we'll report it:
- Pioneer P0533am1   - 256.97 bu/a - 21.0% - 58.3#
- Pioneer P0062xr       - 254.47 bu/a - 19.5% - 56.1#
- Wensman W7268     - 253.94 bu/a - 17.9% - 58.5#
- Pioneer P9917am1   - 251.54 bu/a - 19.9% - 59.2#
- Pioneer P9910am1   - 251.38 bu/a - 20.7% - 56.5#
- Dekalb DKC48-12   - 250.13 bu/a - 18.9% - 57.4#
- Dekalb DKC43-48   - 247.89 bu/a - 16.0% - 58.3#
- Dekalb DKC46-20   - 241.52 bu/a - 17.5% - 60.3#
 - Dekalb DKC43-10   - 240.61 bu/a - 16.2% - 59.4#
-Dekalb DKC50-77   - 238.39 bu/a - 19.3% - 59.1#
-Dekalb DKC50-66   - 238.32 bu/a - 19.0% - 57.7#
-Dekalb DKC49-30   - 237.10 bu/a - 19.9% - 54.9#
-Wensman W7140     - 233.12 bu/a - 16.4% - 60.6#
-Pioneer P9630am1   - 232.94 bu/a - 17.6% - 60.1#
-Wensman W7110     - 232.46 bu/a - 16.9% - 57.4#
-Pioneer P9675amx   - 227.24 bu/a - 17.9% - 60.1#
-Pioneer P9411xr       - 221.46 bu/a - 17.7% - 58.5#
- The main thing I take away from this plot is there were no losers. When 221 bu/a is the lowest yielder of 17 hybrids, that's pretty good! The same Pioneer hybrids moved to the top again though. P0533 was on the top of our other 2 plots so far. P9917, P9910, and P0062 are at the top too.
