Warehouse Corn Plot Results

On Tuesday, we were able to combine our show plot across the road from the warehouse. The corn was quite dry and yields very good. The plot was planted at 34,000/acre in 30" rows on April 25th. Harvested on September 18th, 2012. The plot harvest was independently observed by Mike Lockwood of Mid-America Distributing(wholesale chemical sales), formerly a Dupont Chemical rep and Syngenta Seedsman. The results:

P9630 stuck out for the 95 day maturity hybrids and P0062 and P9917 stuck out at the 98-100day maturity. P0533 is a 105 day hybrid. The first 2 hybrids as well as the fourth suffered from root lodging.

  1. The warehouse lender is able to earn fees and/or expand its loan portfolio without the overhead expense of a larger staff and branch office locations. The mortgage lender has access to the cash it needs to keep making an unlimited volume of loans.
